Following are the classes scheduled for Lusty this year:

Pouch Making – Instructor: Bekah Breland
Make & Take Leather Pouch with Þýri Agviðardóttir (Bekah Breland). Make your own leather belt pouch with Þýri!
If you have leather punch tools, please bring them along with you. This would be a huge help.

Reading and Recreating Really Old Recipes – Instructor: Mistress Temair Cearr
Learn how to read Ye Olde Forsooth recipe and transform it into a delicious dish. And how to spice up everyday dinners with exotic flavors from another time and place. We’ll talk about how and then we’ll interpret a couple of recipes. Class includes:
* Spicy secrets – with samples!
* Translation tricks
* How to understand Middle English in one easy lesson
* Glossary of historic cooking terms and unfamiliar ingredients
* Timeline of foods and cooking manuscripts
* Where to find recipes, cookbooks, and advice
No prior historic or cooking experience needed. Come as you are.

Period-ish Arrow Making – Lady Isabella de Sunderbach
Come learn how to make arrows that look like they would have been used on the Mary Rose but won’t destroy more modern bows or targets.
Class limit of 8.
2:15 PM – 3:15 PM

Cheesemaking – Instructor: Kami Richardson
Join us for an informative demonstration of old-fashioned, artisan cheesemaking! You will learn the art of creating cheese by hand in our small class. You will make your own 1/4lb block of cheese. Your life will never be the same and your taste-buds will be full of gratitude.
Material fee for hands on students $4.
